The Castle Neuschwanstein

Completed in the 19th century, The Neuschwanstein Castle was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria and designed by Christian Jank, a theatrical set designer.

The castle foundation stone was laid on 5 September 1869 and the building construction lasted until 1892. Ludwig II was found dead on 13 June 1886 and never saw the Neuschwanstein Castle complete.

The building is located in the town of Hohenschwangau, Bavaria, Germany.
